This is the week to get on your surfboard and dance at the luau! Campers dodge sharks in Island Hopper and create some lyrics with song-writing. Campers go through a body-bending obstacle course and find their speed with relays. Campers help prepare a tropical fruit salad. Swimming is on M,W with field trips to the Fernbank Museum on Tuesday and Seven Springs Water Park on Thursday.

Explorers, it’s time to travel the globe. We will climb the pyramids of Egypt and create ways to cross the Sahara Desert. Campers play games and do crafts that put them in Antarctica and China. Campers make movies of their adventures. We swim M,W,F and our Field Trips for this week are the Atlanta Zoo and Browns Mill Aquatic Center.

Time to dive below the water’s surface. This week, we look at life and science in the deep sea. Campers create port views to show what they see. They play games like Swim Fishy Swim and create their own model boats. We swim M, W and go to Georgia Aquarium and Seven Springs Water Park.

Campers take a jump back in time to the Medieval Age. Campers build castles and play bombardment. We create knights’ armor and compete in champions’ challenges. Campers make music by crafting instruments. We swim M,W,F and travel to Skate Zone and Browns Mill Aquatic Center.

Time to let our minds go berserk and unleash our creative genius. Campers make gak and experiment with color. We tie dye shirts and test magnetization. We build model cars that can move with the force of gravity. We create a hypothesis for our vegetable growing experiment and look at the results. We swim on Monday and visit Tellus Museum and Seven Springs Water Park on Tuesday and Thursday. There is no camp on Wednesday, July 4.

Rocket into space as we explore things non-worldy. Campers build a spaceship with everything needed for outer-space travel. We play Martian games and look at gravity on different planets. Campers swim on M,W,F. Campers will feel they are in space at Rockin’ Jump. Campers in our older group travel to Six Flags over Georgia.

Time to see what you are made of. Campers form tribes and play Tug of War and Fire Bucket Challenge. There is no limit to our energy as we build outdoor shelters and think about living without electricity. Campers swim M,W and travel to see the Gwinnett Stripers and swim at Browns Mill Aquatic Center.

We strike it rich as we go mining for gold. Campers create inventions that help them sift through rocks quickly. We head down below the surface as we make a mining cart. Campers play Capture the Flag. We swim on M,W,F and our field trips are to Mountasia and Seven Springs Water Park.
